StHEALTH®, (which stands for Strategic HEALTHcare), is a Windows based computer program developed by a Cambridge Ph.D. and an Ivey Business School MBA.
The StHEALTH® simulation is based on our SABRE simulation technology and is specifically tailored for the needs of the pharmaceutical industry. As such it is currently only available for executive courses run by IIBD for our clients in the healthcare industy.
As with our other simulations, it works for pharmaceutical executives the same way that a flight simulator works for a fighter pilot, allowing participants to experience the effects of their decisions without facing the real-world consequences.
The simulation provides the competitive environment. Teams may add and withdraw products from the marketplace as well as advertise, price, distribute, and design those products to best fit varying market segments.
Teams must make decisions in the face of uncertain market conditions, including competitors' moves. As is often in real life, there is no one specific solution to a problem, but there are alternatives that are clearly superior or inferior. Participants must use sound judgement and exercise their knowledge and wisdom to be successful.
The simulation offers a unique learning experience. The learning curve is steep as participants apply their skills to real life situations.
