Cam Tipping BPed., MBA leads IIBD’s engineering-intensive industry practice with a focus on strategic consultancy, strategy facilitation and conjoint market research.
Cam completed his undergraduate degree in Canada, graduating with distinction before obtaining his MBA from the Ivey Business School, again graduating with Dean’s Honors. Raised in Canada, Cam was a member of Canada’s National Speed Skating Team from 1973 to 1980. He represented Canada in several World Championships, competing in both North America and Europe. After completing his MBA he moved to Europe to develop his career in Strategic Marketing, working with the INSEAD Business School. In 1993, Cam founded the International Institute for Business Development (IIBD) to empower business managers and executives to develop market-driven strategies. Cam has pioneered the development of computer-based business simulations unique to IIBD, used to teach and develop strategy.
Cam has consulted with over 5000 business executives from more than 60 countries. Alongside teaching in-house executive courses, his consulting specialty is the development of market-driven strategies. Cam has instructed on MBA and Executive Courses at London Business School, Ivey Business School, IMD and others in Europe, Asia and North America. IIBD’s business simulation, SABRE, is used worldwide on MBA and Executive courses.
